Festival da Castanha

     Mais uma edição do Festival da Castanha, em Arouca!

     Entre os dias 23 e 27 de outubro de 2019 ocorreu a grande festa de outono da vila de Arouca, a IX edição do Festival da Castanha. 

     Estiveram presentes agricultores e vendedores ambulantes provenientes de vários locais e foram realizados concursos para escolher o melhor mel e a melhor castanha do concelho.

     A música, o teatro e diversos concertos animaram o público, que se deliciou com o delicioso aroma a castanha assada.

Chestnut Festival

     Another edition of the Chestnut Festival, in Arouca!

     From 23rd to 27th October 2019, we had the opportunity to visit the great autumn fair in the village of Arouca, the 9th Edition of the Chestnut Festival.

     There were farmers and street vendors that came from different places. Some contests were held to choose the sweetest and most delicate honey and the tastiest chestnut of this town.

     Music, theatre and several concerts amused the public, who surrendered to the delicious aroma of roast chestnut.
